Important News The new and improved market regulations

For months and months (maybe even years?) we've talked about market regulations, ideas for systems, rules, regulations and I honestly have never liked any of them. I don't think the system we have right now is terrible, but it's not really good either. Stuck between a rock and a hard place without any clue what to do.

So this is what we're gonna do:

All market regulations on all items are now gone.

Yes GONE.
Completely gone.
You can give away freely any item in any amount that you want to anyone you want whenever you want.
Yes I am serious.

There is one exception.

Nether Stars.

You cannot sell Nether Stars
You cannot give away Nether Stars
You cannot buy Nether Stars
You cannot trade Nether Stars

This includes any item that can be made with Nether Stars.

(basically any nether stars you have you gotta earn yourself.)

there are always players that will undercut you every chance they get to the point of giving things for free. making money is going to be difficult.
Please reconsider this change. the regulations are not perfect but they help maintain structure to the economy. I don't see how shops will be effective with this new change

I really like this new market system. It has a few flaws, but it allows for a overall more fluid market and has added a lot of the fun for selling and trading back into the game for me. I was able to haggle down the price and pull sneaky tricks to get more money for certain items. This new system definitely allows for much more freedom when trading then the last. However there is one flaw that I can see maybe being improved. That flaw is the nonexistent price for the nether star. We need a minimum price for that item that allows us to sell and trade it. Currently there is not a "Late game" item available to buy that does not require a nether star (CEC, Infinite Manapool etc..). The new minmum can be high or even dependent on the rank of the player but I think this needs to be added because currently there is not a real reason for a player to amass a large amount of money. There is nothing he can buy with it that will make it worthwhile. Sure players can buy most of the individual materials and make the rest of some of the bigger items it but I still think this is a major flaw in the system. Otherwise I love the idea of a self regulating economy and the overall autonomy it gives. Kuddos to whoever came up with it!

The idea was to simplify market regulations (they seem extremely simple now lol.)

It's always a gamble if a new system works. If it happens to not function remember we can always go back to the old rules or come up with new ones.

But for now lets give this a chance!

But you also can't automate netherstars?
And you also cannot kill multiple withers at once?

EDIT: you also can't sell/buy any mid- or late-game items :p

You can automate them - there is a custom recipe for nether stars which you can automate no problem. You just can't automate killing Wither bosses.
